- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure that your cookies bake evenly.
- Step 2: Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to make for easy cleanup and prevent sticking.
- Step 3: Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, portion out the peanut butter break-apart cookie dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 4: Using your thumb (or the back of a spoon), gently press down in the center of each cookie ball to create a thumbprint. This is where the Hershey Kiss will sit.
- Step 5: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Step 6: As soon as you remove the cookies from the oven, gently press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each thumbprint. The heat from the cookie will soften the chocolate.
