- Step 1: Prepare the Baking Dish. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
- Step 2: Combine the Syrup, Peanut Butter, and Sugar. In a large saucepan, combine the Karo syrup, peanut butter, and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until smooth (3-5 minutes).
- Step 3: Mix in the Corn Flakes. Remove from heat and fold in corn flakes until evenly coated.
- Step 4: Press the Mixture into the Baking Dish. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and press down evenly.
- Step 5: Melt the Chocolate Chips. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Step 6: Spread the Chocolate on Top. Pour melted chocolate over the corn flake mixture and spread evenly.
- Step 7: Chill and Cut. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For nut-free, use sun butter or soy nut butter.
- To make gluten-free, use gluten-free corn flakes.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature.
