  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 gherkin small pickled cucumber
  • 1-2 teaspoons red onion (chopped)
  • 60 g smoked salmon
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Boil the Eggs - Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover and remove from heat, letting sit for 12-15 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Cool and Peel the Eggs - Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water for at least 5 minutes. Peel under running water.
  3. Step 3: Prepare the Filling - Slice the eggs in half, remove yolks, and mash in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, gherkin, red onion, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Incorporate the Smoked Salmon - Chop salmon and fold into the yolk mixture gently.
  5. Step 5: Fill the Egg Whites - Fill egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  6. Step 6: Garnish and Serve - Sprinkle dill on top and arrange on a platter.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add hot sauce to the filling.
  • Try crab meat instead of smoked salmon for a luxurious twist.
