  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (scoop and level to measure)
  • 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or 3 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat Your Oven - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Step 2: Melt the Butter - In a mixing bowl, add the salted butter pieces. Microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring in between until melted.
  3. Step 3: Mix in Sugar and Egg - Whisk in the granulated sugar until well combined, then add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Combine Dry Ingredients - In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder.
  5. Step 5: Fold in Dry Ingredients - Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and fold until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Add Chocolate Chips - Fold in your choice of chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
