Method

Baking Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Cream the Butters and Sugars - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add the packed brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
  3. Step 3: Add in the Wet Ingredients - Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk to the creamed mixture. Beat until fully incorporated.
  4. Step 4: Combine Dry Ingredients - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Step 5: Prepare the Rolos - Set aside the unwrapped Rolos.
  6. Step 6: Form the Cookies - Take a small amount of cookie dough, flatten it, place a Rolo in the center, and wrap the dough around it. Repeat with the remaining dough and Rolos.
  7. Step 7: Bake - Place the cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Step 8: Cool and Enjoy - Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing.
  • Chill the dough if it's too sticky for easier handling.
  • Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
