  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 tsp sea salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper or to taste
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

Method
 

Stepwise Method
  1. Start by patting the thinly sliced chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with sea salt and pepper, then set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg. In a separate shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and all-purpose flour. Mix well.
  3. Dip each chicken breast first into the egg mixture, then dredge it in the Parmesan cheese and flour mixture, pressing gently.
  4. In a large skillet, heat the butter and avocado oil over medium heat until hot.
  5. Add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
