Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients - Start by gathering all your ingredients. Measure out the oats, almond or peanut butter, honey, and other components. If you haven’t done so already, puree your ripe banana until it’s smooth.
  2. Step 2: Mix the Base - In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond or peanut butter, pureed banana, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well blended and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients - To the wet mixture, add the oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, salt, and chocolate chips. If you’re using shredded coconut, add it in at this stage too. Mix everything together until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky.
  4. Step 4: Form the Bites - Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on a cookie sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.
  5. Step 5: Chill and Enjoy - Once all the bites are formed, place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up. After they are chilled, they are ready to enjoy!

Notes
