- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the room temperature butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until a dough forms.

- Step 4: Let the bars cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the caramel to set.
- Step 5: Once the bars are chilled, melt the finely chopped chocolate with the remaining butter and light corn syrup in a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Step 6: Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled caramel layer, spreading it evenly. Return the bars to the refrigerator for an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate. Once set, slice into squares and enjoy your delicious Millionaire Bars!
