  • 5 large navel oranges peeled, sectioned, and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 6 ounces pineapple tidbits with juice
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Begin by peeling the navel oranges. Cut away the white pith to avoid bitterness, then section the oranges and cut them into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Open the can of pineapple tidbits and drain them, reserving the juice.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the orange pieces, drained pineapple tidbits, and the flaked coconut. Gently toss the ingredients together.
  4. Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the fruit mixture and gently fold it into the salad.
  5. Cover the mixing bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Once chilled, give the salad a gentle toss, scoop it into a serving dish, and enjoy!
