Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt divided
  • 1 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese divided
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 medium garlic cloves minced
  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 2 packages reduced-fat cream cheese at room temperature
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach thawed, drained, and squeezed dry

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Oven-safe baking dish
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife and cutting board

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese, ½ cup of the nonfat plain yogurt, and ½ cup of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Add the two packages of room-temperature reduced-fat cream cheese to the bowl. Mix in the thawed, drained, and squeezed dry chopped spinach until fully incorporated.
  4. Step 4: Stir in the minced garlic, chopped artichoke hearts, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  5. Step 5: Spoon the mixture into your oven-safe baking dish, smoothing the top with your spatula.
  6. Step 6: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the dip for a melty, cheesy finish.
  7. Step 7: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Step 8: Once baked, remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with your favorite dippers like tortilla chips, pita bread, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • Make sure to squeeze out all excess moisture from the spinach to prevent a watery dip.
  • Be gentle when mixing your ingredients to keep the dip light and fluffy.
  • Let cream cheese sit at room temperature to avoid lumps in your dip.
