  • 1 cup granulated sugar (198g)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5g)
  • 1/2 cup butter melted (113g)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (170g)
  • 1 cup pecans (114g)
  • 1 pinch kosher salt (0.4g)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using a store-bought graham cracker crust, place it on your baking sheet. For homemade, crush graham crackers and mix with melted butter, then press into a pie dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the lightly beaten eggs, granulated sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Sift in the all-purpose flour and kosher salt into the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Pour the cookie pie filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with your spatula.
  7. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Once baked, let the pie cool for at least 15 minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.
