Gather your ingredients and gear ready to go.
Pour 1 cup of water into the inner pot of your Instant Pot.
Insert the trivet or egg rack into the pot.
Carefully place the 6 eggs on the trivet or egg rack.
Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to 'sealing'. Select the pressure cook function and set the timer for 5 minutes.
Once the cooking time is completed, allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes.
Prepare a bowl filled with ice and water while the eggs are naturally releasing pressure.
After the 5 minutes of natural release, switch the valve to 'venting' to release any remaining pressure.
Transfer the eggs to the ice bath and let them sit for at least 5 minutes before peeling.
