  • 52 ounces ultra-pasteurized milk (Opt for ultra-filtered milk for the best results)
  • 2 tablespoons prepared yogurt (Ensure it contains live cultures, or use a yogurt starter)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients - Pour the 52 ounces of ultra-pasteurized milk into the Instant Pot inner pot.
  2. Step 2: Add the Yogurt Starter - Mix the 2 tablespoons of prepared yogurt with a couple of tablespoons of the milk. Whisk until smooth and then add this mixture back into the pot. Stir gently.
  3. Step 3: Set the Instant Pot - Close the lid, set the steam release valve to “Sealing,” select the “Yogurt” function, and set the timer for 8 hours.

Notes

  • Store yogurt in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Consume within 1-2 weeks for the best flavor and texture.
  • Freeze yogurt for longer storage, but texture may change upon thawing.
