Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices white bread preferably fresh
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect golden brown color.
  2. Lay out your 8 slices of white bread on a cutting board and cut them into triangles or rectangles.
  3. Melt the 2 tablespoons of salted butter and spread it generously on one side of each piece of bread.
  4. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the buttered side of the bread.
  5. Place the buttered slices on a baking sheet, buttered side up, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and serve warm with your favorite dips or spreads.
