Ingredients
  

For the Wings:
  • 2 pounds chicken wings cut
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 spray cooking spray

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line your baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, brown sugar, melted butter, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour half of the sauce mixture over them. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the wings out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Brush the remaining sauce over the wings and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  8. Let the wings cool for a few minutes before serving them with dipping sauces and celery sticks.

Notes

  • Make sure to dry the wings well for extra crispiness.
  • Flip the wings halfway through cooking for even results.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for 165°F internal temperature.
