Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Meat thermometer
  • Cookie scoop or hands

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, finely diced onion, milk, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Mix gently to avoid tough meatballs.
  3. Step 3: Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart.
  4. Step 4: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  5. Step 5: Let the meatballs rest for a few minutes before serving with spaghetti, in a meatball sub, or as an appetizer.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
