Ingredients

  • 6 ounces pepperoni chopped
  • 1/2 cup Italian sausage cooked, drained, and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese divided use
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 2 tablespoons pizza seasoning divided use
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 1-pound packages pizza dough
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Equipment

  • Baking sheets
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Sharp knife or pizza cutter

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pepperoni, crumbled Italian sausage, half of the Parmesan cheese, chopped scallions, and 1 tablespoon of pizza seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one package of pizza dough into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Spread half of the filling mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, then another sprinkle of pizza seasoning and half of the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  5. Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Pinch the edges to seal and slice into 1-inch thick rolls. Repeat with the second package of dough.
  6. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Place the pizza rolls on the sheets, leaving space in between. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and pizza seasoning over them.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
