  • 1 medium banana peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries or mango fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter (walnut or almond preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

Method
 

  1. Start by collecting all your ingredients and gear to create a smooth and enjoyable blending experience.
  2. Peel the banana and chop it into smaller pieces for easier blending. If you're using frozen mixed berries or mango, you can simply measure them out.
  3. In your high-speed blender, add the banana, mixed berries or mango, almond milk, Greek yogurt, spinach, nut butter, chia seeds, and protein powder, if using.
  4. Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth. This may take about 30-60 seconds. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Give your smoothie a quick taste. If you prefer it sweeter, consider adding a touch of honey or maple syrup.
  6. Pour your delicious Healthy Smoothie into a glass or jar. If desired, top it with additional chia seeds or a sprinkle of nuts for an extra crunch.
