- Step 1: Rinse and drain the black beans if using canned beans.
- Step 2: In a food processor, combine black beans, cocoa powder, coconut oil, vanilla extract, salt, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Step 3: Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or add optional flavors as desired.
- Step 4: Form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, with your hands.
- Step 5: Chill the formed balls on a baking sheet for at least 30 minutes.
- Step 6: For optional chocolate coating, melt dark chocolate and dip each ball, then return to the fridge.
