  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Begin by thawing your frozen berries. Once thawed, pour them into a blender along with their liquid. Blend until smooth and set aside to create a luscious berry sauce.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, ground flax seed, nut butter, extra-virgin olive oil, and the ripe banana. Use a fork or a whisk to mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  3. In a serving bowl or glass, start with a layer of Greek yogurt at the bottom. Then add a layer of the chocolate mixture followed by a layer of the berry sauce. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the bowl.
  4. Top your sundae with a generous sprinkling of diced or chopped nuts. This will add a delightful crunch and enhance the overall texture of your breakfast.
  5. Dig in immediately! Enjoy your Healthy Chocolate Breakfast Sundae as a deliciously nutritious start to your day.
