Ingredients
  

For the Patties:
  • 1.5 pounds ground turkey lean preferred
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg acts as binder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, finely diced onion, chopped fresh parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, aiming for about 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
  4. Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Let the mixture sit for 15-30 minutes before forming patties to enhance flavor.
  • Store uncooked patties in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before cooking.
  • Grill instead of frying for a smoky flavor.
