Start by washing your green onions thoroughly. Pat them dry, then chop both the white and green parts finely. Next, take your fresh ginger and grate it until you have 2 ½ tablespoons worth.
In a mixing bowl, add the chopped green onions, grated ginger, and salt.
Pour in the neutral oil over the onion and ginger mixture.
Using a whisk or fork, thoroughly combine all the ingredients until they are well mixed. You want the oil to coat the green onions and ginger evenly.
Taste your sauce and adjust the salt if necessary. If you prefer a stronger ginger flavor, feel free to add more grated ginger.
