Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spaghetti uncooked
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 stick butter room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon bottled grated Parmesan cheese for topping
  • Chopped scallions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add your spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the spaghetti cooks, mince the garlic cloves. The finer you chop, the more intense the garlic flavor will be in your noodles.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the butter. Allow it to melt, then add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. To the skillet, stir in the oyster sauce, Sriracha, and sugar. Mix well to combine all the ingredients and let them cook for another minute until the sauce is aromatic and slightly thickened.
  5. Once your spaghetti is cooked, drain it in a colander. Add the drained noodles directly into the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together using a wooden spoon, ensuring every strand of spaghetti is coated with the sauce.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the Garlic Sriracha Noodles to serving plates. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with chopped scallions. Serve immediately and enjoy!
