  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons furikake

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, wasabi, soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of furikake. Mix well until you have a smooth paste.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Using a spatula, spread the mayonnaise mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of furikake over the coated salmon fillets.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

  • Adjust the wasabi for your preferred spice level.
  • Add sesame seeds or scallions for extra flavor.
  • Try using furikake on other proteins like tuna or chicken.
