Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp yellow onion grated (with the juices)
  • ¾ cup good quality mayo
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika (not smoked)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Using a box grater or a food processor, grate the yellow onion. Make sure to include the juices, as this adds flavor to the sauce.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated onion, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, sweet paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Using a whisk or spoon, mix all the ingredients together until well combined and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Transfer the sauce to a sealable container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This chilling time allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
