Servings: 8 servings
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces refrigerated biscuits recommended brands like Pillsbury
  • 1 cup white sugar for coating
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon ground
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Cookie cutter
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Open the package of refrigerated biscuits and separate them. Use a cookie cutter or a glass to cut out the center of each biscuit to form the donut shape. If you prefer donut holes, you can keep the center pieces as well!
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your donuts cook evenly and develop a golden-brown exterior.
  3. Place the biscuit donuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded to allow for even cooking. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown.
  4. While your donuts are cooking, mix the white sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. In another bowl, melt the butter.
  5. Once the donuts are done, remove them from the air fryer and immediately dip them into the melted butter, then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well-coated.
  6. Serve your Easy Biscuit Donuts warm and enjoy the delightful combination of crispy and fluffy textures with a sweet cinnamon flavor.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • You can freeze leftover donuts by placing them in a single layer on a baking sheet until frozen, then transfer to a freezer bag.
  • Reheat frozen donuts in the air fryer for a few minutes before serving!
