Step by Step Instructions:
- Start by hard boiling your eggs. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for about 12 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.
- Once the eggs are cool, peel them and cut them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, Tabasco, salt, and pepper. Use a fork to smash the yolks and mix until smooth.
- Divide the yolk mixture into two bowls. In one bowl, add a few drops of green food coloring to create a vibrant green hue. In the second bowl, mix in a few drops of blue food coloring for variation.
- Scoop the colored yolk mixtures into separate Ziploc baggies. Snip off a corner of each bag to create a piping bag. Pipe the green filling into half of the egg whites and the blue filling into the other half.
- Slice the black olives into small circles. Place one olive slice in the center of each deviled egg to represent the pupil.
- Sprinkle paprika over the eggs for a pop of color. Use a toothpick to create any additional details or to swirl the colors for a more dramatic effect.
