Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add your 8 oz of dried bowtie or farfalle pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
After cooking, drain the pasta in a colander and let it cool for a few minutes to achieve perfect crispiness.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, dried basil, grated Parmesan cheese, and kosher salt. Toss until well-coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Add the seasoned pasta to the basket in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Once golden brown and crispy, remove the pasta chips and let them cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dip.
