Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup tahini sesame paste Look for high-quality tahini for the best flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil A good-quality olive oil will enhance the richness.
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is recommended for brightness.
  • 1 tablespoon honey This adds a touch of sweetness; substitute with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For a hint of garlic flavor without the strong bite.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1-3 tablespoons water Use if needed to thin the dressing to your desired consistency.

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 1/3 cup tahini sesame paste and 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour in 3 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 tablespoon honey. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well incorporated.
  5. If too thick, add 1-3 tablespoons water gradually until desired consistency is achieved. Whisk well after each addition.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if needed.
  7. Transfer the dressing to a storage container and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
  • Give it a good stir before using, as it may separate.
  • If it thickens, whisk in a little water to reach desired consistency.
