Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat and Prepare - Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9x13-inch baking pan lightly or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Step 2: Mix the Wet Ingredients - In a mixing bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter, large egg, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk them together until the mixture is well blended and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Combine the Dry Ingredients - In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are perfectly fine.
