Ingredients

  • 1 box Kellogg's Corn Pops cereal 12.5 oz
  • 1 package Kraft caramel squares 11 oz
  • 1 cup unsalted butter 2 sticks
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Medium saucepan
  • Rubber spatula
  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Start by lining a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the unsalted butter, Kraft caramel squares, and salt. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Once your caramel mixture is melted, pour it over the Kellogg's Corn Pops cereal in a large mixing bowl. Use your rubber spatula to gently fold the caramel into the cereal, ensuring every piece is coated evenly.
  4. Pour the caramel-coated Corn Pops mixture into your prepared baking dish. Press down firmly with your spatula or clean hands to create an even layer.
  5. Allow your Caramel Corn Pops Treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  6. Once the treats are set, lift them out of the baking dish using the parchment paper. Slice into squares or bars, and serve!

Notes

  • Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  • For longer storage, consider freezing them with parchment paper between layers.
  • Feel free to add mini chocolate chips or festive sprinkles for variations!
