Ingredients
  

For the Brownies:
  • 1 package brownie mix 17.8 ounces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking pan
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix with the melted butter as per the package instructions. Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, mix together the creamy peanut butter, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt until smooth.
  6. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the top of the brownies.
  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  8. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
  9. Refrigerate the brownies for at least 30 minutes to allow the layers to set. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the brownie mix.
  • Allow brownies to cool before adding the peanut butter layer.
  • Top with chopped peanuts for extra crunch.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
