  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh squeezed, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 ounces blue cheese or Gorgonzola crumbles (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped, optional)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Gather your ingredients. Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor!
  2. In your blender, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice (if using), garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Blend on medium speed until smooth.
  3. Add half of the blue cheese crumbles to the blender. Blend briefly until just incorporated.
  4. Taste and adjust. Add more lemon juice or buttermilk for desired consistency.
  5. Fold in remaining blue cheese crumbles for texture and flavor.
  6. Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
