  • 1.5 cups almonds Raw and unsalted
  • 0.25 cup oats Rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup almond butter Creamy
  • 0.25 cup chia seeds Packed with omega-3s
  • 0.5 teaspoon almond essence
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup Natural sweetener
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate drops
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt To balance sweetness

Method
 

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and measuring them out. This will make the process smoother and more enjoyable.
  2. In your food processor, pulse the almonds until they reach a coarsely chopped consistency.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped almonds, oats, almond butter, chia seeds, almond essence, maple syrup, dark chocolate drops, and salt. Stir until everything is well mixed and forms a sticky dough.
  4. Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  5. Place the energy bites on a baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Once chilled, your Almond Joy Energy Bites are ready to enjoy!
