Method

How to Make Air Fried Chicken Wings
  1. Start by rinsing the chicken wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture is key to achieving that coveted crispiness.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Toss the wings thoroughly to ensure they are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This step is crucial as it helps achieve that crispy exterior.
  4. Place the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking. If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook in batches.
  5. Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to achieve your desired level of crispiness.
  6. If you like your wings saucy, transfer them to a large bowl and toss them in your favorite barbecue sauce or Buffalo sauce after they come out of the air fryer.
  7. Serve the hot wings with a side of blue cheese dressing or ranch for dipping. Enjoy your crispy, flavorful Air Fried Chicken Wings with friends and family!

Notes

  • Let wings cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For longer storage, freeze wings in a single layer, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes for crispiness.
