- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Step 3: In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Step 4: In a food processor, blend the garbanzo beans, mashed bananas, peanut butter, vanilla extract, baking powder, cinnamon, and sea salt until smooth.
- Step 5: Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Step 6: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Step 7: Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Freeze for up to three months and thaw in the fridge overnight.
- Try using almond or cashew butter for a different flavor.
