Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the 4 ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the 2 large eggs and ½ cup light brown sugar to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
Gently fold in 2 cups of self-rising flour into the banana mixture.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
